Finger Picked Acoustic Guitar, Flageolets and a Psychedelic FX Guitar all in one instrument. All instruments have been recorded 4 times and sampled round robin. The Modest Guitar is designed to sound warm and organic. There are also some decent guitar player noises on the flageolets which can create an additional pleasant atmosphere.

Since the Modest Guitar was actually made for the advanced round robin tutorial in first place the sampling was not the priority. But we found that it can still sound very beautiful in some situations and decided to also release it as free Kontakt instrument with some additional features.
The single instruments can be activated / deactivated via key switches: C0 (Acoustic Guitar), D0 (Flageolets) and E0 (Psychedelic FX Guitar) while playing. B-1 deactivates all instruments

Hi, I realize what is happening now I have been trying to open the file with Kontakt 5 in standalone mode . it opens correctly in a daw with Kontakt loaded as a plugin. Thanks for your input Regards Kevin

Hi All the downloads are older than the version 5.5.2.880 . I have checked the about info in Kontakt and I have not made a typo

hey, sorry I did not mean you with the typo but native instruments. I thought their version 5.6.6 is actually version 5.6.8. But anyway, can you ask native instruments if they can send you the current update or provide you any link?

Thanks for the file but my fully updated Kontact 5 cannot open it, I get an error telling me my Kontact needs updating even though it allready is updated

can you name your Kontakt version, please.
The modest guitar (current version) was made with the previous Kontakt version (5.6.8)

you could try legacy versions. But they only offer up to 5.6.6 so I doubt that this will work. But you can still give it a try.

Actually the modest guitar works fine with my latest Kontakt version 5.7.0, so probably it is another problem with your setup like some kind of an update failure?! So you could also try to uninstall and reinstall Kontakt

that’s odd. The current version is 5.7 maybe try to reinstall Kontakt. If you still get 5.5.2 offered try version 5.6.6 from the legacy link I posted. Since there is no other version listed in the reference manual than 5.6.5 and 5.6.8, “5.6.6” could just be a typo?! Maybe it is 5.6.8?!
